COVID-19 is in the news everywhere, and we are closely monitoring the situation. We are reaching out to assure you that you are safe at Mercer Smiles.

Starting on May 5th, we will be offering an at home teledentistry option for patients with appropriate conditions. Your visit will be billed through your insurance. We will also be offering self-pay teledentistry option for patients without insurance.

If you would like to request a telemedicine visit with one of our doctors, simply email questions@mercersmiles.com or call our office and someone will contact you the same day to schedule. Once scheduled, you will receive instructions on how the visit will go. If you are a new patient, you will receive instructions on how to complete new patients paperwork

We already, as a daily practice, assure universal precautions as outlined by CDC and OSHA standards of infection control. The safety and health of our patients are always our number one priorities. Our high standard of care ensures that your safety and health are never compromised.

We are taking extended measures to further protect all our patients and team members with the following additional protocols:

  • In compliance with the recommendations from state public health officials, American Dental Association, and New Jersey Dental Association anyone with a cough or fever will not be allowed in the building and should stay home. As precaution, we will be taking temperatures on every staff member and patient that enters our facility.
  • Prior to your appointment, you will be asked to electronically fill out a Covid-19 questionnaire via email/mobile format, which will automatically be uploaded into our system thus limiting physical paperwork.
  • When you arrive at Brunswick Smiles you will be asked to stay in your vehicle until we are ready to seat you in your personal treatment room. (More instructions will be given once an appointment is made.)
  • Upon entering the office, you will be asked to sanitize your hands and be taken into your personal treatment room immediately.
  • Each treatment room will have its own dedicated medical grade HEPA air purifier along with other personal protective equipment and barriers.
  • Upon completion of your treatment a team member will guide you out of the facility.
